She smiled with her too wise black eyes and tossed her flaming curls. "I believe this is yours?" In her warm and mortal palm she held his ruby ring.

"Why so it is." He gazed upon it and was struck by a memory. Wet writhing flesh, hands gripping his shoulders as he burrowed into heat. A sweet hot copper kiss and sighs of surrender.

He gazed upon her and his eyes blazed flame momentarily. "I thank you for its return." He held the door to the dark manse wide. "Enter and receive your reward." His smile was sharp and pointed.
